Charl Bester
Charl joined Southern Right Capital in February 2024, after 22 years at Kruger International Wealth & Asset Management. Charl was a Senior Wealth Manager & Portfolio Manager responsible for client portfolio construction and the management of direct equity portfolios. He was a Director, Key individual and Member of the Investment Committee. During this time he was a regular market commentator on business radio and television programs.
He started his career as an index analyst at the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) in London. Charl is a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Southern Africa and the Financial Planning Institute.
Charl is currently reading for an Executive MBA at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
